Signing in
Every BadawiTECH app (portal, webmail, password manager, monitoring) uses the same sign-in page at
auth.badawitech.com. Sign in once and the other apps open without asking again.
Your sign-in name
Section titled “Your sign-in name”Your sign-in name is always name@your-company-domain, for example [email protected]. It looks like an email address,
but it is your account name. Your company admin tells you yours when they add you.
Two-step verification
Section titled “Two-step verification”A company can require two-step verification for everyone. You then set up an authenticator app (such as Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator) the first time you sign in, and enter its 6-digit code at every sign-in.
Google or Microsoft
Section titled “Google or Microsoft”The sign-in page also offers Google and Microsoft. This only works for an account your company already made: the first time, you confirm it is you with your BadawiTECH password, and the two are linked. If there is no BadawiTECH account with that email address, nothing is created and you cannot sign in. Two-step verification and app access still apply after a Google or Microsoft sign-in.
Forgotten password
Section titled “Forgotten password”Choose Forgot password? on the sign-in page and enter your sign-in name. A reset link goes to the email address on your account (your company mailbox, or the personal address your admin added). If you have neither, ask your company admin to reset your password.
Signing out everywhere
Section titled “Signing out everywhere”Your company admin can sign you out of every app at once, for example after a lost laptop. Mail apps that use an app password keep working until that app password is removed (see Mail apps).
